What's in the tune-up: lube of springs, hinges, rollers and bearings with garage-door lubricant; tighten all hardware; spring and cable inspection; balance test; track alignment; roller check; auto-reverse and force test; photo-eye alignment; opener gear and chain check; weather seal check; remote and keypad batteries; and a look at your wind-rating label and bracing.
You get it all written into your Door Passport, so next year's visit starts where this one ended.

When to skip us this year
If your door is under two years old, runs quietly and passed its last check, spend the money elsewhere. Wipe the tracks, spray the hinges and rollers with a garage-door lubricant (not WD-40, which is a cleaner), and call us next year.
